Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Tahsil (the "Service"), operated by Tahsil Inc. ("Tahsil," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Tahsil is a software-as-a-service tool that helps businesses manage their accounts receivable — drafting and sending payment reminders to their own customers, generating statements, and surfacing accounts at risk. Tahsil is not a debt collection agency, does not buy debt, and does not collect on behalf of third parties. All chase communications go out under your business's name and email address; Tahsil is the tool, you are the sender.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you import into Tahsil (from QuickBooks, CSV, or otherwise) and for keeping your account credentials secure. You retain all rights to your data; Tahsil acts as a processor on your behalf. You can export or delete your data at any time.

You will not use Tahsil to: (a) contact individuals who have explicitly opted out of communications, (b) send harassing, deceptive, or fraudulent content, (c) attempt to circumvent rate limits or technical safeguards, (d) use the Service in violation of applicable law including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, FDCPA, GDPR, or PIPEDA. You are responsible for the compliance of the chase content you send.

Subscription fees are charged monthly or annually in advance, based on the plan you select. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We work hard to keep Tahsil available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability.

Either party may terminate this agreement with notice. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms or use the Service to harm others. On termination you retain a 30-day window to export your data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tahsil's aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
